Coaches are meant to serve their clients and empower them to unleash their best version to live their ideal life, that is the main purpose of coaching, unleashing the potential.
The purpose of a coaching agreement is to partner up with the client to help them transform themselves into better learners who are insightful and take action.
A coach who has mastered this would work with the client on creating new awareness which would be integrated into their daily activities and perspectives which are reflected in the world.

Most importantly, a coach is meant to support a client’s independence when designing their goals and actions and would certainly acknowledge their method of accountability. Evidently, a coach is not responsible for his client’s results or actions.
What Does The Coach Suppose To Do When Reaching An Action Plan?
When reaching the action plan, though it is the end of the session, coaches must explore every potential result that would yield from the client’s actions.
Furthermore, they must encourage their clients to come up with actions no matter how small it is. The lack of judgment that the client feels when coming up with their actions in terms of “no pressure” that it does not have to be a huge or world-changing action, makes their life much easier when designing their actions.
This helps them reach a state of optimal living during coaching sessions.
What Is a Client’s Growth?
Client growth is based on moving forward as coaching is a developmental approach which means that the coach should always be willing to support the client in the actions and decisions without suggestions or judgment whatsoever on the client’s actions and choices on how to move forward.
Sometimes clients’ growth lies in staying where they are and not moving forward. They must not be judged as well and must be encouraged to work in their own comfort.
It is very important the coach summarizes the useful insights for the client at the end of every session as it becomes the client’s takeaway.
In addition, the coach must celebrate the client’s actions, and achievements – no matter how small they are, they are supposed to be encouraged. When celebrating the client, the emotional benefits are magnificent and go a very long way with the client as celebrating their success, no matter how big or small can keep them very motivated.
